Auction of Promises
Over 80 fantastic 'promises'
will be auctioned on 20th March to help raise money for Midgley'
new village shop and community room.
The huge range of treats on offer includes holidays, a tour of the Emmerdale studios, an original Paul Czainski Dry Point Etching, beauty treatments, theatre tickets, rides in racing cars or horse drawn carts, loads of foodie treats, dozens of wonderful gifts donated by local shops and businesses, and lots of helpful stuff like ironing, gardening, baby sitting and airport lifts.
The Auction will be a fun
and lively evening so why not get a group of friends together and bid for some
of these unique and exciting promises. All parents and friends of Midgley
school will be very welcome.
The Auction will be held in
school, with doors opening at 7.00pm. Entry is 3 pounds per person and includes a
catalogue detailing all the lots. Catalogues can be bought in advance from
Midgley shop - one catalogue will admit one person on the night.
There will be a licensed bar and a hot supper will be available for a small charge.
